Three peaks - four of David's friends challenged themselves to climb three of Britain's highest peaks; Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon all within 24 hours. For full details visit the Three Peaks event page.
186 mile bike ride - a sponsored and grueling bike ride from Leicester to Exeter covering around 186 miles of B roads in 24 hours, organised by Sergeant Nick White, David's colleague and friend.
Gig - a sell out ticket event attended by close to 300 people. This event has raised over £3,500 and has set the ball rolling.
We have more events in the planning stage. Visit the events section for more details.

Welcome
Foreword
Welcome and thank you for visiting. In a nutshell, this site was created by family and friends of David, a brain tumour sufferer, in hope of prolonging or providing a better quality of life for David who hopes to take part in a medical trial at The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumour Centre, in Durham, North Carolina, USA.
In order to make this happen for David, we must raise $155,000 USD (circa £100,000 GBP) and will be relying on donations from any and every good willing person who visits this site.
It is for this purpose that this site exists. We will continually update the site and we hope that you will donate, bookmark us and check back for updates.
Please see our sitemap and explore our site to find out more details about who our David is, a bit about his history, the medical trial and the events we are organising to raise money to take him there.
Most importantly, please donate to this very worthy and honourable cause and spread the word. This you can do for us in a number of ways; informing people at your workplace, joining our Facebook group, printing and displaying our poster, posting on appropriate blogs and if you have a website we will consider affiliating with you (contact us).
Faithfully,
David's family, friends and colleagues

Update on David's condition
Since our last update in February, when David's tumours had unfortunately progressed, David has been undergoing experimental treatment as part of a clinical trial, which by an incredible twist of fate, became available, right here in Leicester, earlier this year... 43 UK police forces
£3,000+ donated online alone
Sergeant Spike Webber initiated a surge of donations by police officers and police staff around the UK from an e-mail generated by his team. The group of police officers began their shift over an hour earlier than usual so that they could put together an e-mail to reach out to colleagues in all the 43 police forces in the UK by asking each officer to donate £1 to Team Robinson.
The response was extraordinary - within minutes, donations were flooding in online and, by the end of the week, over £3000 had been donated online alone. In addition to this, there are cash and cheque donations being collected by Sergeant Webber on a daily basis. The donations are still coming in.
I am extremely grateful to Sergeant Webber and his team for such a wonderful gesture in the first place. The fact that this has generated such an enormous response is just overwhelming and very humbling. In addition to the fantastic sponsorship, I am aware that there have been many messages sent to me in e-mails sent via this website. I am extremely touched by the heartfelt comments left by so many colleagues offering positive and encouraging words. Reading these has left me very emotional and I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who has been part of this initiative.

Well-wishers
Messages for David
A number of well-wishers have been handing donations and cards to David's friends and family as well as police staff at enquiry desks at various police stations. David has been reading the messages as they have been passed on to him and is very grateful and very touched by the generosity and kind words offered by so many strangers.
David meets Leicester City Football Club
David meets the players, manager and owner
David is a huge Leicester City Football Club fan. He has season tickets and today he got the chance to meet the players, manager Nigel Pearson and club owner Milan Mandaric during a training session. The meeting was a surprise for David, and was organised by his colleague and friend Sergeant Nick White who unfortunately could not make the meeting himself. Instead Chief Inspector Rosie Grant was there as were local newspaper Leicester Mercury.
