Events
We have organised some events in the name of our cause.
Three peaks - four of David's friends challenged themselves to climb three of Britain's highest peaks; Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon all within 24 hours. For full details visit the Three Peaks event page.
186 mile bike ride - a sponsored and grueling bike ride from Leicester to Exeter covering around 186 miles of B roads in 24 hours, organised by Sergeant Nick White, David's colleague and friend.
Gig - a sell out ticket event attended by close to 300 people. This event has raised over £3,500 and has set the ball rolling.

Gig
COMPLETED | March 5, 2010 | raised £3,500+
The first of our fund raising events took place tonight. It was attended by an amazing sell-out crowd of close to 300 people filling the venue to full capacity. The gig was led by Lois and Sandie who, with the help of many others, hosted a great night of fund raising activities. Special thanks to the Nottingham Oddfellows WMC for providing the venue, ReBorn for the fantastic musical entertainment and STRIDE who kindly provided catering for the night.
Many many thanks to the huge number of attendees who turned up on the night to support our cause. Also a big thank you to all those who couldn't be there on the night but showed their support by buying raffle tickets for what turned out to be some excellent prizes.
The evening raised over £3,500 which is a really good start towards our target. Please remember that this is just one of the many events we hope to host for David. Our next event is the grueling bikeride organised by David's colleague and friend, Sergeant Nick White.
